Students can engage in hands-on scientific exploration while developing science and engineering skills through observation, investigation, modeling, and the use of scientific tools. They will explore the properties of matter, force, motion, and energy; investigate patterns in the sky and the changing seasons; learn about the basic needs, life cycles, and habitats of plants and animals; and discover Earth's natural resources. The curriculum is aligned with the current Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards for kindergarten science. New topics will be explored during each session.
