DESCRIPTION:Students can engage in hands-on scientific exploration while developing science and engineering skills through observation, investigation, modeling, and the use of scientific tools. They will explore the properties of matter, force, motion, and energy; investigate patterns in the sky and the changing seasons; learn about the basic needs, life cycles, and habitats of plants and animals; and discover Earth's natural resources. The curriculum is aligned with the current Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards for kindergarten science. New topics will be explored during each session. \n
