DESCRIPTION:Using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential Set, part of the LEGO® Learning System, children design, build, and test models to achieve specific goals while exploring foundational engineering concepts, simple machines, and the mechanics of gears. Through engaging, narrative-based challenges featuring relatable LEGO® minifigures with diverse personalities, students are encouraged to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and work collaboratively as they help overcome obstacles and complete missions. Young engineers are also introduced to the exciting world of robotics through WeDo 2.0™, a hands-on platform designed for early elementary learners. Students build models featuring motors and sensors, then use age-appropriate coding to program their creations to meet challenges and bring innovative ideas to life. \n
